This newly extended resource, based on a colour wheel can be used with young people and their parents to educate around an autism diagnoses, increase awareness of areas of need therefore identifying support and targets moving forward and as a pre and post intervention tool. There are additional child explainers – What is Autism and What People Think the Autism Spectrum Is. Additional activities to identify Difficulties and Strengths as well as note taking pages for during completion of the colour wheel activity.
This now 30 page pack also includes category explanations and guidance, facilitator/user instructions as well as executive function, social skills audit and sensory processing checklists. These tools can also be used to build an evidence base towards assessment.
