Resource detailing the Circle of Friends intervention and including activities for weekly meetings.

The Circle of Friends intervention is a structured approach designed to support young people with issues with friendships or social skills which can ostracise them from their peer group by creating a network of friends and peers who provide support, encouragement, and a sense of belonging. The focus is on promoting social inclusion, reducing isolation, and fostering positive relationships through regular meetings, collaborative planning, and ongoing evaluation.

I have created a comprehensive resource pack which explains the intervention, sets out the structure, provides resources including sessions scripts, meeting outlines, recording documents, start and ending activities to foster knowledge and growth on friendships, problem solving and celebrating strengths, as well as consent forms, evaluations and certificate
